This manor house was built in the late 17th century by a close relative of the famous french poet, member of the Académie, François de Malherbe, who gave it his name: "La Malherberie". Situated in peaceful outstanding hilly surroundings (grounds of 7 hectares with five hole golf course and small lake), the manor is equipped with modern comfort (bathroom, kitchen, central heating) while retaining its character. The accommodation is 160 m2, and includes 4 bedrooms: Chambre Louis XV, Bedroom with the great fire-place, Indian bedroom and Wainscott bedroom, living room/kitchen and great drawing-room with fireplaces. 18th century staircase. Although it is equipped with the most modern comfort, it has retained its traditional cachet, so much so that it was used as the major setting for the shooting of a television historical serial.
